Emergency Clothing Pantry
This program provides specified clothing items to our clients that have experienced an emergency in their lives. We also coordinate this program with emergency agencies in conjunction with the Disaster Relief Program.
Disaster Relief Program
Agape coordinates efforts with various emergency agencies that include but are not limited to local fire and police departments, Red Cross, Auglaize County Recovery Function and others. Agape assists where needed. We would work with Auglaize County EMA department.
Slumber Fun Program
This program provides a brand new pair of pajamas, a new blanket, a new pair of slipper socks, assorted personal hygiene items and where age appropriate, a small toy each year from Thanksgiving until Christmas. This reaches children from birth to 13 years of age that would not necessarily have Christmas gifts.
Agape Financial Aid Program
This program provides coordinated and united assistance to families in crisis situations, where a small amount of financial assistance can help alleviate an immediate need. Help is provided on a discretionary basis for utility bills (help can only be given every 2 years to a household) Appropriate documentation is required.
Weekend Power Pack Program
Agape is proud to be able to provide the additional food for students, in grades 1 through 8, during the school year. We work with the school’s administration and allow them to determine who may need these bags and provide them to the schools on a weekly basis throughout the school year. These bags include 2 breakfast, 2 lunch, 2 dinner, 4 snacks and 1 shelf stable beverage.
Warm Feet Program
We receive new socks throughout the year and offer them free to our clients that are in need. We know that keeping feet warm is very important any time during the year.
Senior Box Program
This program provides food to seniors who are homebound each month. A food box is delivered to homebound seniors on the fourth Wednesday of each month. These food boxes are packed at Agape and picked up by the Auglaize County Council on Aging and delivered 1st Wednesday of the month.
Hats, Gloves, Scarves and Mittens Program
Agape collects these new items and offers them free to residents in Western Auglaize County during the winter months.
Warm Winter Coat Program
Agape coordinates efforts with the local churches to collect coats.. This program collects new and gently used coats during a designated period and offers them free to residents, in need, in St. Marys, Minster, New Bremen and New Knoxville. This keeps adults and children warm during the winter months.
We are located one block to the north of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital (JTDMH) at the intersection of Spring Street and St. Clair Street.
